Bought a 4 season box set for $60 and the last season was a total cash grab
I saw this show everyone kept raving about and grabbed the full DVD collection at a pawn shop in Tulsa for 60 bucks. Seasons 1 through 3 were amazing, real character growth and a plot that kept me up till 2 AM. But season 4? They clearly ran out of ideas and just stretched three episodes worth of story into ten. The finale literally reused footage from earlier episodes with a new voiceover. I checked online and the studio released that season just to hit a contract quota. I wasted a whole weekend on that mess when I could have stopped at season 3 and been happy. Has anyone else gotten burned by buying a complete series where the last season was clearly filler?
