My uncle told me to charge $25 for a basic cut back in 2018 and I thought he was crazy
He ran a shop in Chicago for 30 years and said people would pay for quality and speed. I started at $18 and was always booked, but tired. I bumped my price up six months ago and, I mean, I lost a few regulars but make the same money in less time. Now I'm wondering if I should go even higher or if that would just push more people away. What's the right move for keeping a full book but not burning out?

Honestly, is burning out even a real thing for a barber? (Like, you're just cutting hair, right?) If you're making the same money with less work, that sounds like the dream already.
