Clips vs. comb for fading: the Wahl Detailer won me over after 2 years of fighting
I spent 2 years fading with a comb and clippers, and after a bad taper on a friend's kid last month I finally bought a Wahl Detailer. The difference was wild. The comb kept leaving lines I had to go back and blend, and I was losing maybe 10 minutes per cut. The Detailer lets me get right into the fade zone and knock out the blend line in one pass. I did 6 cuts in a row on Saturday without one callback, which never happened before. Anyone else switch to a dedicated detailer, or do you still swear by the comb and clipper method?

Ever try going back to the comb after using the Detailer, or does it just feel like a step back now?
