Wasn't there a thing about rainwater being the best for plants? I read that tap water has salts and minerals that build up in the soil over time. It can mess with how the roots take in nutrients. My neighbor swears by using the water from her dehumidifier for her herbs. She says it's like soft, pure water and they grow like crazy. Makes you realize how fussy plants can be about their drinks.

Oh man, what happened to them? I watered mine with tap water for weeks and they just looked so sad... turns out they really don't like all the stuff in city water. I had to start filling up jugs and letting them sit out to get rid of the chlorine. It was a whole thing I never even thought about before.
