I blew off the old farmer about apple cider vinegar in the water, then my hens stopped laying
He told me at the Decatur feed store back in March to put a capful per gallon and I rolled my eyes, but 5 weeks later 8 of my 10 hens were laying again after a slow winter. Was it the vinegar or just spring coming? Anyone actually run a side by side with their flock?

Tried it two winters back and got the same thing, more eggs by April. But spring does that anyway so who knows.
