Chat with a pilot at the FBO in Boise got me thinking about our work

He said we're the only ones who ever touch the black boxes after they're installed. Made me realize how much trust is in our hands. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where the job felt bigger than just fixing wires?

Ever had that feeling when you're just doing a normal task and the weight of it hits you? Like you're not just tightening a bolt, you're the last person to check the thing holding a wing on. That pilot is right. We sign off on work and that's it. Lives ride on our call. Makes you slow down and double check everything, you know?

Remember reading about that tech who found a crack everyone else missed on a C-check. Whole fleet got grounded. Makes you realize our normal Tuesday is someone else's big deal.
