100th shipment finally made me realize my old quotes were a scam
I just hit my 100th car shipped through brokers and compared all the invoices from the last 5 years. My first 30 shipments averaged like $850 for open transport, but the last 10 averaged $620 for the same routes out of Phoenix. I guess the market changed, but it stings knowing I overpaid for years. Anyone else look back at their old quotes and feel dumb about what they accepted?

Five years is a long time to look back at, but that's kind of how any market works, right? You weren't dumb, you just paid the going rate back then.
