PSA: Don't buy a 'universal' O2 sensor socket from a discount tool truck

Bought one for $35 from a guy named Ray who parks outside the NAPA in Toledo. The wall was so thin it flexed and rounded off the sensor on a Ford Escape, turning a 10 minute job into a 3 hour nightmare of drilling and extraction. What's a brand that actually holds up on stubborn ones?

Check if you can find a proper OTC or GearWrench one. Those usually have a thick wall and a good 6-point grip. Did Ray at least give you your money back after that mess?

Yeah, a good 6-point grip is key. I swapped to a GearWrench after my cheap one failed.
