My DA sander walked off my bench in Fresno and ate the floor, so now the whole shop does the 'tool roll call' at 5pm
Last Tuesday I turned my back for maybe 20 seconds to grab a rag and my DA bounced off the bench, hit the concrete, and cracked the shroud, and after I quit swearing I got a roll of red tape and started marking every tool with a number so we all check at end of shift, and weirdly nobody has lost anything in 2 months, so does anyone else run a check out board or am I just turning into the tool mom of the shop?

Two months without losing anything means it works, so own the tool mom thing.
