The Uber driver told me the moving permit for my block is only good for 2 days and I've been parking in the wrong zone since June
So I was riding to the DMV office off Piedmont and the driver starts talking about how he does moves on the side. He says the city sign permit for a moving truck is only valid for 48 hours, not the whole week like I figured. Come to find out my apartment building sits on a zone line, so half the street is permit only and half is fine. I've been getting tickets since June, 3 of them at $75 each, parking on the wrong side of the sign. Nobody at my building office mentioned any of this when I signed the lease. How do I even check which zone my curb is in without getting bounced around on the phone all morning?
