That $99 duct cleaning van I almost ignored turned out to be the real deal
I kept seeing this plain white van parked off Buford Highway with a hand painted sign for duct cleaning, $99 flat for a whole house, and I figured it was a scam or they would upsell me the second they got inside. My wife has bad allergies and our vents were blowing dust every time the air kicked on, so after about 3 weeks of putting it off I finally called the number. A guy named Marcus showed up on time, put down drop cloths, and pulled out a camera that showed me 12 years of junk caked inside the main trunk line. He never once tried to sell me anything extra, just showed me before and after pictures on his phone and charged me the $99 with tax. The dust in our bedroom cleared up in about 4 days and my wife stopped waking up stuffed every morning. Now I am wondering how many other small Atlanta services I have written off just because their truck did not look fancy. Has anyone else here used a no frills local guy off Buford Highway or somewhere similar and been surprised by how good the work was?
