Paid $60 more for a local plumber over a chain, still worth it
My kitchen sink backed up last Thursday and the big company quoted $220 over the phone. The local guy on Memorial Drive came through for $80 extra but showed up in 2 hours and fixed it with parts he had on hand, no upsell. Anyone else find that smaller outfits beat the big names around here?
