Saw a photo of the Pillars of Creation with different filters and I think the standard Hubble version is overrated
I was scrolling through the JWST comparison images on the NASA site last Tuesday and found this side by side of the Pillars. Everyone loves the iconic Hubble version, but the mid-infrared JWST shot blew me away more. It showed all this hidden dust and baby stars that the Hubble one just washes out. Anyone else prefer the less popular filter versions of famous astro photos?

Honestly that's so cool to hear. Bet that filter pulls in some wild details you'd never catch otherwise.
