My deep-sky shots keep ending up fuzzy and I don't know why
Honestly, I've been trying to capture galaxies with my entry-level setup. Tbh, no matter how many frames I stack, the final image is always blurry and noisy. Does anyone have advice on what I might be doing wrong?

Are you checking your individual frames before stacking? If each sub is blurry, stacking won't fix that. Your TRACKING might be off, or the FOCUS could be slightly soft. Make sure your polar alignment is spot on and use a bahtinov mask for sharp focus. Also, entry-level mounts can struggle with long exposures, so keep your subs short and take more of them.

Yeah, been there too many times. I once shot for three hours before realizing my polar alignment was so bad the stars looked like little comets in every single frame. Had to throw out the whole night's work because I didn't check a single sub.

Patricia's right, check each sub or you're just stacking blur.
