I used to think you needed a perfect dark sky for any good astro photo, but a shot I got from my city balcony in Chicago last night with a 30-second exposure on my old Canon changed my mind.

What's the most light-polluted place you've managed to get a decent shot from?

Honestly, my best light-polluted shot came from a Walmart parking lot near the airport. Tbh the security guard was more of a problem than the streetlights. Ngl the photo was mostly just a weird orange blur with one sad star. Still counts as astro if you squint really hard, right?
