The edit flexibility saved so many blurry shots.

Actually, a blog post about astrophotography mentioned how RAW is a game-changer for night shots. Like, if a comet trail is faint, you can pull up the shadows without making everything noisy. Remember that time-lapse of Neowise? People said RAW let them fix star trails from shaky tripods. Shooting jpeg would have lost all that data in the dark parts. Makes you wonder how many good shots were lost before RAW was common, right?

Star trails are usually from Earth's rotation, not shaky tripods. But RAW does help salvage blurry shots, right?
