Found a weird stone tool in my backyard in Tucson
I was digging a hole for a new fence post last week and hit something solid about two feet down. It's a smooth, hand-sized rock with clear flaking marks on one edge, looks like a scraper. The property is near an old Hohokam site, according to a map I saw at the Arizona State Museum three years ago. Should I just leave it where it is or contact someone?

I mean, it's probably just a cool rock, right? People find weird shaped stones all the time. Unless you're sure it's from that site, maybe just keep it as a garden find. Idk, contacting a museum over one possible tool feels like a lot.
