My old landlord in Chicago thought my worm bin was a science project
He came by for a check up and saw my stacked plastic tubs on the balcony. He said, 'You're really making dirt from your leftovers in there?' and just shook his head. That was five years ago, and now the building has a shared compost drop off. What's the most surprised reaction you've gotten from someone about your setup?

That's a solid win for composting. My old neighbor thought my bokashi bucket was a failed attempt at making pickles.
