I read that a single worm bin can eat a pound of scraps a week

Found this fact in a book from the local library called 'Worms Eat My Garbage'. It said a healthy worm bin with about 1000 red wigglers can process that much, which is basically all my veggie peels. I was shocked because my little bin is only half that size and it keeps up just fine. Has anyone else tracked how much their worms actually eat?

Forget tracking, just toss in your scraps and see what happens lol.

Heard some folks say that can attract pests though, right? Might depend on what you're tossing in.
