My great aunt's 1911 map had a town that vanished by 1920
She told me to check the railroad spur lines when looking for ghost towns, said they'd point to where resources actually went. I found a settlement outside Reno called Dry Bend listed on the 1911 sheet, but it's gone from every map after 1920. Does anyone know what happened to the place or was it just a naming error that got corrected?

Dry Bend probably just got renamed or absorbed, not every missing town is a mystery.
