Wireless sensors at a church in Dayton changed my mind about hardwiring everything

A loose contact on a hardwired door loop kept false alarming at 2 AM for three straight nights, and when I swapped in a wireless sensor it took me 20 minutes instead of a full rewire, so now I only hardwire the panels and main zones, am I crazy for trusting battery life on commercial jobs?

I used to swear by hardwiring everything, but after seeing a buddy fight with a cracked conduit for a full day, I get it now. Battery life on good gear is way better than I gave it credit for.
