Went from hating torque wrenches to using one every day after a bad call in Phoenix
I used to eyeball everything on smaller jobs, figured it was fine until I got a brake line fitting that cracked because I over-torqued it by hand. A senior mechanic at the Phoenix hangar showed me his click-type wrench and the exact setting on a Cessna wheel, and that one incident sold me on never guessing again. Anyone else have a specific failure that forced them to change their tool habits?
