Three weeks of chasing a phantom leak on the 737 and it was just a drip tray
Down at the hangar in Tucson last month, we had this 737 coming in every night with a little puddle under the forward galley. Pulled the floor panels, checked the drain lines, even swapped a valve that looked crusty. Third night I crawled under there with a flashlight and just watched. Turns out the coffee maker drip tray overflow hose had a crack smaller than a hair. Cost me about 14 hours across the week. Anyone else spent way too long on something that tiny and felt like an idiot when the part was 20 bucks?
