Saw a guy use a bore scope on a 60 year old Bonanza and it blew my mind
Was helping a buddy annual his 1961 Bonanza last weekend and he pulled out this cheap $30 USB bore scope from Amazon to check the cylinders. I used to spend an hour pulling plugs and fighting with a flashlight and mirror, and this thing showed us the valve faces in like 2 minutes on his tablet. Made me think about how my old shop foreman would've laughed at that, but honestly the tech is just better now. Anyone else ditch the old mirror trick for one of these, or am I late to the party here?
