Had a senior AME tell me my torque wrench clicks were 'like a bad DJ set'
He said I was rushing the final clicks on the cowl fasteners and it sounded uneven, so now I count a full second between each one. Anyone else get weirdly specific feedback that actually stuck?

Man, that is SO real. My old crew chief once said my safety wire twists looked "sad and droopy, like a tired mustache." Now I can't NOT see it, and I over-twist everything trying to get perky curls. Some of those comments just get in your head forever.

Totally get it, used to think the sound was just a sound. Then an inspector told me my ratchet rhythm on a panel sounded "nervous" and it made the whole plane seem jittery. Now I do the same thing, I aim for a steady beat like a metronome. Oliver811's tired mustache is the perfect way to describe that kind of feedback, it rewires your brain.
