Chasing a fuel leak for 3 days, it was a $2 O-ring
Spent 72 hours at the hangar in Phoenix chasing a drip off the right wing on a 737. Swapped the main fuel pump, checked the lines, even pulled the access panels twice. Turned out the O-ring on the crossfeed valve was dry rotted and a $2 part fixed it. Anyone else burn a whole weekend on something that small and obvious only in hindsight?
