Dropped $80 on that silicone air fryer liner set and everything tastes like rubber now
Bought the 3 pack on a whim at Target on 4th, used the biggest one for frozen wings at 400 for 18 minutes, and the whole batch came out tasting like a new tire, so I'm back to foil and want to know if anyone actually got those liners to work.

Did you wash them first? Mine smelled pretty rough out of the package so I ran them through the dishwasher before any food touched them, and that seemed to kill most of the smell. That said, 400 degrees is pushing it for some of those cheap silicone liners, they might be rated lower than you'd expect. Honestly foil is free and never tastes like a tire, so you're not really losing anything here.
