My friend told me to ignore the new AI image generator's watermark feature

He said it was a waste of time and no one would care. So I posted a batch of marketing images for a local cafe without the new invisible watermark. A week later, I found them being sold as stock photos on a cheap site. The new AI tool from last month has a setting that embeds data to prove you made it, and I skipped it. Has anyone else had their AI work stolen like this?

Check if the stock site used your exact cafe name or branding. That detail would prove they just scraped your post directly (which is pretty brazen).

Yeah I did that, and they even used the same weird filter I put on my photo. Got it taken down pretty fast after I pointed that out.
