Oh man, I learned this the hard way a while back. I ruined two good pieces because I was impatient and pulled them early. Now I basically add an extra hour to whatever I think the cool time should be. My wallet couldn't take another lesson like that.

Velcro strips save so much hassle outside. I use them to secure my garden netting and bundle up cables, nothing for critters to tangle with. They withstand rain and sun without degrading. Really, once you start using them, you'll find a dozen more places to put them.
