Vent: my washi tape roll self-destructed mid-spread last night
I was laying out my Sunday column and my favorite lavender washi just split right down the middle, like 3 inches in. That roll lasted me through 14 weeks of weekly spreads, I counted the tears. I tried taping it back together with a tiny piece of clear tape but it caught on my finger and wrinkled the whole corner. Ended up scrapping that page and using a plain highlighter strip instead, which actually looked kind of clean. Anyone else had a beloved tape roll die at the worst moment? Do you repair or just retire it?
