Led strip fell down 3 times, so I tried the velcro trick

Honestly, I read someone's tip about using heavy duty velcro strips instead of the sticky tape that comes with LED kits, and after my $25 strip dropped off the TV stand twice in one day, I figured why not. The velcro held all weekend, even with my dog wagging his tail right underneath, so has anyone else had better luck with command hooks or magnets for these things?
