Spent a whole Saturday dialing in my cartridge alignment

I always thought people were overthinking it with the protractor stuff, but after hearing my new Ortofon Blue sound all fuzzy on the inner tracks I finally caved. Took me about 4 hours with a $12 alignment protractor to get it spot on, and now the high end is so much cleaner. Has anyone else had a cartridge that needed way more fiddling than the box promised?
