I was exploring some trails in the mountains last month. Lots of visitors were getting lost because maps were outdated. It hit me that offering personalized trail tours could be a good side gig. You just need some knowledge and a way to market online. It might not make a fortune, but it could cover some extra costs.

You know, everyone talks about the fun parts but WHAT about liability? If someone trips and gets hurt on your tour, you could be sued. Look into small business insurance, it's not cheap but it's necessary. Maybe even add basic first aid to your tours, that's a huge plus for safety.
