Pro tip: I stopped living paycheck to paycheck by tracking my daily coffee runs
I mean, I was always short on rent money and it stressed me out. Idk, maybe it's just me but adding up all my small purchases showed me how much I was wasting. Now I limit myself to two coffees a week and put the rest in savings.

Yeah the "adding up all my small purchases" thing... I used to roll my eyes at that advice. But seeing the actual number kinda shocked me into cutting back too.

Honestly, tracking that stuff is a real wake-up call. You look at your bank app and see a hundred little five dollar charges for coffee and snacks. It adds up to a car payment by the end of the month. My own coffee habit was basically funding a barista's vacation fund. Cutting back felt like getting a tiny, stupid raise.
