Hit 213 dandelions in one pass, that was my breaking point
Walked my front yard last Tuesday with a weed puller, just doing the usual spot check. Ended up pulling 213 dandelions from a 600 square foot patch. That number stopped me cold because I thought I was on top of it. Turns out the vinegar spray I used in spring only killed the tops, the taproots were all still alive underground. I spent 4 hours digging every single one out, and now I'm checking weekly with a screwdriver to feel for roots before they flower again. Has anyone else counted their pull and switched methods because of it?
