Just realized I hit 100 lightbulb swaps in 5 years, that feels insane
I was doing a rough count last night after swapping yet another kitchen bulb and started adding up all the ones I've changed since we moved into this 1960s ranch in 2021. Ceiling fans, bathroom vanity lights, the garage, outdoor floods, plus all the lamps. Total is 101 now. That's a bulb every 3 weeks. My house is only 1,400 square feet. Never thought about it like that until I did the math on a notepad. Most were just cheap LEDs burning out early, some were the pull chain sockets going bad. Anyone else keep a tally or am I the only weirdo who counts this stuff? And do you buy bulk packs now or still grab singles at the hardware store?
