Read an article a while back about a guy who debunked like six different "cursed" artifacts by just running DNA tests on them. He said it was the most boring Tuesday of his life because every single one was just old mold or bacteria, not some ancient curse. Kinda makes you wonder if the storytellers were just trying to sell a good story, not preserve any real mystery. The truth is often way less interesting than what we imagine.

Is the answer the fun part though? For me, the mystery is what's interesting, and solving it kinda kills the fun.
