Hit 10,000 hours on the same excavator today

Was doing the daily check on our old Cat 320D and the meter rolled over. That's like 5 solid years of seat time on one machine, mostly on a big site in Toledo. It's wild to think about all the dirt that bucket has moved. Anyone else have a machine they've logged crazy hours on?

Man, that's a real milestone. I knew a guy who ran a loader for so long the seat had a permanent dent of his backside. You get to know every single rattle and whine a machine makes at that point. Bet you could run that 320D blindfolded.

Yeah, you start to feel the machine's mood through the seat and pedals, not just the noise.
