Heads up about that new 'quick set' color line from the convention in Chicago

After a client's hair turned a weird green shade (and I mean actual moss green) during a routine root touch-up last Thursday, I found out the developer they sent with the kit was mislabeled as 20 volume when it was actually 40, so check your bottles twice before you mix anything.

Ever think checking the bottle label was just being overly careful? I used to roll my eyes at people who double checked every single developer bottle. Had a client come in for a simple toner last month and her ends went straight to straw yellow because the bottle said 10 volume but it was 30. Now I check the batch code against the box for every single service, no exceptions. That extra thirty seconds saves a world of trouble.
