Showerthought: I used to spend hours trying to match a specific shade of green for a logo.

Back in 2017, I was stuck on a project for a local coffee shop and couldn't get the green right, mixing colors in Illustrator forever. I finally tried sampling the color from a photo of moss I took in my backyard, and it gave me the exact earthy tone I needed. Do you ever find real world colors work better than digital swatches?

Wait you spent HOURS on a single shade of green? That's some serious dedication.

Right? It's wild how many things are like that now. My friend spent 40 minutes picking a white paint swatch. My partner compared fifteen different toasters online. We're all out here losing whole evenings to the tiniest choices, trying to get it just perfect.
