DAE think brutalist web design is just lazy, or is there a legit inspo angle I'm missing?
I wrote it off as ugly for years, but a portfolio site from a studio in Berlin last month actually made the starkness feel intentional and powerful. What changed your mind about a design trend you initially hated?

Yeah that Berlin studio example hits home lol. I used to see brutalist sites and just think they forgot to finish the design. But then I saw one for a noise music label that was all raw html and it just fit the vibe so perfectly, like the site itself was part of the art. Now I get it when the style matches the content, it's a choice, not a mistake. Changed my whole view on it.
