Appreciation post: I was sure this new color palette tool was just hype
I saw a post here about a site called Coolors and thought it was just another fad, but I tried it on a logo job for a local cafe last month. It spat out a combo I never would have picked, and the client loved it on the first try. What's a design tool or trend you were wrong about?

I was the same with those AI image generators, thought they were just for weird memes. Used one to mock up a quick background for a client presentation and it saved me hours of stock photo hunting. Sometimes the hype is actually worth it.
