My daily bus route changed numbers overnight and the driver says it's always been this way.

Ha, the driver claiming it's always been that way is classic. I have a similar talent for being confidently wrong about changes. Last week I insisted my grocery store moved aisles, but nope, just my bad memory. At this point, if a bus driver tells me something, I just nod and hope for the best. My internal map is more of a rough sketch anyway.
