I always thought the Mandela Effect was just bad memory until I saw that old gas station sign

There's a Sinclair station on Route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, that I've passed a dozen times. Last week, the green dinosaur logo was facing left, but I could have sworn it always faced right. I checked my old photos, and I'm wrong, but the feeling is so strong. Has anyone else had a solid memory flip on a local landmark?

Tbh that Sinclair dinosaur has always faced left. It's a super common mix-up because our brains just assume it would face the direction of travel.

Ever notice how gas station signs always put the price on the right side? Feels backwards when you drive up. Our brains are just wired for some weird defaults.
