Showerthought: Using scrap glass from jobs for DIY suncatchers is way more fun than I thought

I mean, I always had bits of glass left over after jobs, and it felt wrong to toss them. So I started messing around with making suncatchers in my garage. Idk, maybe it's just me, but using a cheap glass grinder from the hardware store made shaping so much easier. For example, I cut some blue scraps into leaf shapes for a garden themed piece. It's not just about cutting costs, it's a cool way to unwind after work. The key is to go slow with the cuts to avoid chips. You guys should try it if you have extra glass lying around.

Just seems like a lot of setup for some glass bits. You really out here buying grinders for scraps?

Hold up, are we really acting like leftover glass scraps are some kind of hidden treasure now? @the_keith's buddy Dave must have a lot of free time on his hands to be that excited about a kitchen window decoration. It's still just glass, not some life-changing art project.

My buddy Dave made a green one that hangs in his kitchen window now.
