My attempt to cut a big circle with a grinder went about as well as you'd think
Had a job in Tacoma where the client wanted a 36-inch round piece of 3/8" tempered glass for a custom table. I figured I'd save time and freehand the circle with my angle grinder and a diamond blade. The first cut was fine, but on the second pass, the glass just let out this huge 'crack' and split into three jagged pieces. My helper just stared and said, 'Well, that's a new shape.' Learned the hard way that tempered glass and freehand curves don't mix. Anyone have a better method for cutting large circles that doesn't involve a giant ring saw?

Yikes, that's a classic rookie move.

Yeah, rookie moves are the worst. I just slowed way down and double checked everything before hitting send.
