Heard a customer say they'd never pay for 'just a piece of glass' again
Ngl, I was delivering a big shower door in Denver and overheard the homeowner telling a friend about their old installer. They said after seeing the precision cuts and the clean silicone work, they finally understood the skill. Has anyone else had a moment where a client's comment made you feel like the trade got some real respect?

That part about "precision cuts and clean silicone work" is so true. I was helping my uncle with a tile job last summer and the homeowner watched us for like twenty minutes without saying a word. Then she just goes, "I had no idea there was that much math in it." Felt pretty good, like she finally saw it wasn't just slapping stuff on a wall. Those little comments make the long days worth it.

Twenty minutes of silence before she said anything? I would have been sweating bullets thinking she hated the layout.
