I finally got a handle on my furnace flame after a bad start in my garage

I was trying to pull a gather last Tuesday and the flame kept going orange and sooty, which almost ruined a piece. I realized my air intake was clogged with dust from a project I did the week before. Has anyone else had to clean their burner ports more often in a dusty space?

My buddy had the same issue in his workshop, dust bunnies were practically living in his burner. He started using a cheap air filter near his bench and it helped a ton.
