My sister's new tablet stopped the morning chaos over cartoons.
My younger sister got a tablet for her birthday last month. Before that, she and our brother would fight every day about what to watch on TV. It made getting ready for school a real mess. I told her to try using the tablet for her shows instead. Now she just puts on headphones and watches quietly. That little change has made our mornings way better.

Diving right into that, the calendar thing really highlights how we overcomplicate stuff (I'm totally guilty of this). It's like we think the fix has to be some big life hack when really it's just getting everyone on the same page with something simple.
