Ngl, I used to miss package pickups all the time and then have to drive to the depot during work hours. Last month my across the street neighbor mentioned he leaves his porch light on red when he is out of town so the delivery folks know to leave stuff at my door. I tried it during a 4 day trip and both my Amazon boxes and the mail carrier respected it. It saved me about 2 hours of waiting around and a $15 lockbox fee I was about to pay. Has anyone else set up a color code with their regular drivers or is this just a lucky thing?
